You can now call 1-800-CHAT-GPT (1-800-242-8478) to chat with the famous AI yourself, and ask it whatever you want — no paid ChatGPT account necessary! (ChatGPT is also making the number available outside of the U.S. via texting, on WhatsApp.)
Sounds amazing, right? There’s only one (pretty big) problem, as outlined right here on ChatGPT’s hotline help page:
“You can talk to 1-800-ChatGPT for 15 minutes per month for free, with a daily limit on WhatsApp messages. We may adjust usage limits based on capacity if needed.
We provide a notice as you approach the limit and inform you when the limit has been reached. You can continue chatting with ChatGPT by downloading the ChatGPT app at chatgpt.com/download or going to chatgpt.com.”
That’s right, you only get 15 minutes a month, per phone number. That’s it.
